Lebanese Fried Potatoes With Cilantro and Garlic - Batata Harra

Ingredients
- 5 potatoes (900 gr), cut into 1 cm cubes (≈ half inch)
- 4 big garlic cloves, minced
- 1 bunch cilantro (about 25 gr) + a bit more for garnish, finely chopped
- ½ tsp chili flakes
- Squeeze of lemon juice
- Salt/pepper
Directions
- 1. Pat dry the potatoes.
- 2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium/high heat.
- 3. Add the potatoes to the pan and fry until golden/brown and cooked through, about 20 minutes. Remove from oil and drain.
- 4. Now, fry the garlic until slightly golden.
- 5. Add chili and fresh cilantro, give it a quick stir.
- 6. Then add the fried potatoes and stir until the potatoes are well coated. Season with salt and pepper.
- 7. Garnish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
- 8. Enjoy!
