Honey Garlic Sausage Pasta Skillet

Ingredients

  • 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Directions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sliced sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté onions, garlic, and bell peppers until softened.
  • Add chicken broth, heavy cream, penne pasta, honey, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook until pasta is tender.
  • Return the cooked sausage to the skillet and mix well with the pasta mixture.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving hot.
