Ingredients

Goudrenetten (Schone van Boskoop)
suiker (voor 1 kg appels ongeveer 80 gram)
citroensap
witte wijn (droog, zelf heb ik hier sake gebruikt)

Directions

Appels schillen, in vier snijden, klokhuis uitsnijden en verder in kleinere partjes snijden..
Besprenkelen met wat citroensap.
Suiker toevoegen.
In een pan met dikke bodem een bodempje witte wijn en daarbij de appels voegen.
Op een middelhoog vuur, onder deksel een half uur laten sudderen tot de appelstukken uit elkaar vallen.
Regelmatig roeren en indien nodig wat vocht (witte wijn of water) toevoegen.
De compote van het vuur halen als de appels goed los vallen maar nog niet tot moes zijn gestoofd.
Controleren op smaak, eventueel corrigeren met suiker of wat citroensap.
Doe de compote in goed schoongemaakte met een deksel afsluitbare glazen potten.
