Ingredients
- 500g frozen or homemade French fries
- 250g ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 C shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup cheese sauce optional
- Chopped parsley for garnish optional
Directions
- Cook fries according to package instructions or bake homemade fries until crispy.
- While fries cook, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sauté onions and bell peppers until soft, then add sliced steak.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until steak is browned and cooked through.
- Once fries are ready, place them on a serving dish or oven-safe tray.
- Top with steak mixture and sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.
- Return to oven for 5–7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Drizzle with cheese sauce and garnish with parsley if desired.
