Ingredients

  • 500g frozen or homemade French fries
  • 250g ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 C shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup cheese sauce optional
  • Chopped parsley for garnish optional

Directions

  • Cook fries according to package instructions or bake homemade fries until crispy.
  • While fries cook, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sauté onions and bell peppers until soft, then add sliced steak.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until steak is browned and cooked through.
  • Once fries are ready, place them on a serving dish or oven-safe tray.
  • Top with steak mixture and sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.
  • Return to oven for 5–7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • Drizzle with cheese sauce and garnish with parsley if desired.
