Red Wine Braised Short Ribs

Ingredients
- Short Ribs
- Onions, diced
- Celery, diced
- Carrots, diced
- Roasted Garlic
- Cabernet
- Beef Broth
- Tomato Paste
- butter
- Beef Bouillon
- Seasonings:
- - Fresh Thyme
- - Bay Leaves
- - Badia Complete Seasoning
- - Herbs de Provence
- - S&P
- - Garlic Powder
Directions
- Need: Large Dutch Oven
- 1. Seasoning short ribs in a large bowl with Badia, Herbs de Provence, S&P, and Garlic Powder
- 2. Brown short ribs in small amount of butter. 3-5 min each side. Remove from pot and set aside.
- 3. Saute onions, celery, carrots, and garlic. Let cook down a few minutes until onions become transparent.
- 4. Add in tomato paste and beef bouillon and cook down. Add in wine and reduce down.
- 5. Add back in short ribs and 1 container of beef broth.
- 6. Cook on 350 for 3-4 hours depending on amount of ribs you have.
- Notes: do not use any oil when sautéing onions or browning ribs. The ribs produce enough oil.
