Ingredients

  • 2 Boneless or Bone-in Pork Chops
  • 1 yellow or sweet onion
  • 3 Honey crisp apples
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 box Kettle and Fire chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup half and half
  • Butter
  • Honey
  • 1 lemon
  • 2tbsp dijon mustard
  • Hearts of Palm pasta (optional)
  • Seasonings
  • -S&P
  • -Badia Complete Seasoning
  • -Pork Magic
  • -Garlic powder
  • -Cinnamon
  • -crushed red pepper, pinch
  • -fresh thyme
  • -fresh sage

Directions

  • 1. Season pork chops with S&P, Garlic powder, Badia, pork Magic. Brown in skillet with olive oil on both sides for 3 minutes. Take off and set aside.
  • 2. Rough cut apples, onions, green onions.
  • 3. In skillet add 2tsp butter, add in all cut veggies and mince garlic on top.
  • 4. Drizzle honey, add in S&P, cinnamon, crushed red pepper. Let cook down till onions and apples caramelize. About 20minutes.
  • 5. Add in Bone broth, half and half, Dijon mustard and 1/2 lemon squeezed. Let come to a boil. If adding in pasta, do so now.
  • 6. Add back in pork chops and herbs. Put in the oven for 10-15 minutes until pork chops are fully cooked.
