Honeyed Strawberry Ricotta Crostini

Ingredients

  • Baguette or crostini
  • Fresh ricotta cheese
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced
  • Honey
  • Balsamic glaze (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch slices and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake the slices in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until they turn golden brown.
  • In a mixing bowl, blend fresh ricotta cheese with honey according to your taste.
  • Generously spread the ricotta mixture over each piece of toasted bread.
  • Layer the sliced strawberries on top and, if you like, drizzle some extra honey and balsamic glaze over them.
  • For an added touch, sprinkle fresh mint leaves on top.
  • Serve the crostini right away and enjoy!
