Warm and Cozy Lasagna Soup

Ingredients
- 1lb ground pork
- 1lb ground Italian sausage or premade meatball mix
- 1 yellow onion or shallot
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 28oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 tomato paste
- 1 box of Kettle and Fire🔥 chicken broth
- 1/2 box lasagna noodles or 1 packet of Palimini Lasagna noodles, rinsed
- 1 packet of Sugar (Truvia)
- Fresh Basil 🌿
- Dried Basil
- Italian Seasoning
- Salt and Pepper
- Crushed red pepper flakes
- Cheese mixture:
- 1/4 cup Ricotta
- Mozzarella
- Shredded Parmesan
- Italian Seasoning
Directions
- Need: Dutch Oven Pot
- 1. Sauté onion, garlic, and meat. Let all cook down and meat brown. Add in Italian seasoning, dried basil, S&P. Cook for a few minutes.
- 2. Add in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, and broth. Let come to a boil
- 3. In separate bowl add cheese mixture together and set aside.
- 4. Once soup is boiling, add in noodles and fresh basil. I like to slap it first to release the aromatics, then tear into the soup. Let cook for 10-15 minutes until noodles are tender.
- 5. Scoop in a bowl and top with cheese mixture, ENJOY!! 😋
