Ingredients
- 8 oz Ground Beef
- 8 oz Italian Sausage Ground
- 1/2 Red Onion 1/2 Slice
- 1/2 Carrot Diced
- 1/2 Celery Stalk Diced
- 3+ Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1/2 28 oz can Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 15.5 oz can Diced Tomatoes
- 4 oz Tomato Paste
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 C Red Wine
- Kosher Salt & Black Pepper to taste
- 2 tsp Basil Med.
- 2 tsp Oregano Med.
- 1 tsp Thyme Ground
- 1 tsp Rosemary Ground
- 3 tbsp Parsley Dried
- 1 Bay Leaf
- Lasagna Sheets/Noodles
- 1 1/4 C Mozzarella Shredded
- 1/2 C Sharp Cheddar Cheese Shredded
- 4 oz Goat Cheese Crumbled
- 1/2 C Parmesan Cheese Grated
Directions
- Prepare Meat Sauce
- Brown Beef & Sausage in Dutch Oven
- Sauté Onion & Garlic with meat
- Add Carrots & Celery
- Drain fat
- Add Tomato Products, Wine, Sauce, Sugar H&S & S&P.
- Simmer for 1 Hour
- Assemble Lasagna
- In baking dish, add thin layer of meat sauce.
- Add layer of Sheets
- Add Cheese
- Add layer of Sauce
- =Repeat Twice=
- Add a final layer of Sheets, Sauce, Cheese.
- Bake
- Cover with foil, bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil, Bake 15 minutes.
- -Let cool for 15-20 minutes before cutting.
