Beer Barbecue sauce, by Dave Leiberman

Barbecue, Condiment, Sauce
Serving size: 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients

  • ½ cup A-1 Steak sauce
  • ½ cup bourbon or beer
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar (I use a tablespoon or two)
  • 1 teaspoon whole grain such as Inglehoffer or Dijon mustard
  • 2 pinches of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper (start with about 1/4 teaspoon first then taste)

Directions

  • 1. eat all the ingredients together in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming.  Cool.  The sauce will keep in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Notes

  • Best for Ribs!
