Spahetti with meatballs

Ingredients
- - 200 g uncooked spaghetti
- Meatballs:
- - 500 g lean minced meat
- - 30 g breadcrumbs
- - 1 egg
- - 20 g parmesan cheese
- - 1 handful of fresh parsley
- - 1 pressed garlic
- Sauce:
- - 1 red onion
- - 1 pressed garlic
- - 500 g sieved tomatoes
- - 35 g tomato puree
- - 1 tsp sugar
- - 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- - salt and pepper
- Optional: parmesan cheese and fresh parsley as garnish
Directions
- Mix the ingredients for the meatballs.
- Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti for 8-10 minutes.
- Roll them into 20 balls and fry them in a pan. Turn them regularly until they are done. Then remove them from the pan.
- Chop the onion and fry together with the garlic in the same pan with a little water. Let them fry for two minutes and then add the rest of the ingredients for the sauce. Bring to the boil and let it simmer. Add 4 tbsp of pasta water to make it a little thinner, more water if needed.
- Put the meatballs back in and let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
- Put some spaghetti on a plate with 5 meatballs and top it off with some fresh parsley and parmesan cheese.
