Kathy Ann’s Maid Rite Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups and 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extra
- 1 1/2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups (15 ounces package) Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
Directions
- 1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
- 2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, granulated, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat and flour mixture. Stir in Morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased baking sheet.
- 3. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for two minutes; remove two wire racks to cool completely.
- 4. For a softer cookie that melts in your mouth bake for only eight minutes. The cooking time is adjustable to fit your taste palette.
- 5. My sis (Mary Claire) always says that less is more so yes - 8 minutes in the oven is all my cookies get.
