- ^ Tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 2 2/3 cup pastry flour or all purpose (pastry makes more delicate)

- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Directions
- 1. Cream the butter in a mixer
- 2. Add sugars, vanilla, egg, flour, and dissolved baking soda. Mix until its just blended
- 3. Add chocolate chips and stir
- 4. Preheat oven to 350
- 5. If you’re dough is too soft you can chill it till it stiffens up a bit. Scoop with a 2 oz cookie scooper and shape into balls.
- 6. Place on parchment lined cookie sheets about 2 inches apart (they don’t spread all that much )
- 7. Bake for 15-17 minutes until slightly golden brown and not too soft- transfer to rack to cool
- 8. Store in an airtight container- good for about a week or keep in freezer for about a month
