Ingredients

  • 1 Rack of ribs
  • 3 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Remove membrane
  • Cut ribs if needed so they fit in air fryer
  • Mix dry ingredients together in bowl
  • Rub ribs with seasoning mix
  • Preheat air fryer to 375 degs for a few minutes. Once unit is hot place ribs with meat side down and cook for 15 minutes. (It is important to let air fryer heat up first to avoid ribs sticking to the basket)
  • Flip the ribs and cook and additional 10 minutes.
  • If desired, brush with BBQ sauce and cook 3-5 more minutes at 400 degs or until sauce has set and darkened slightly. (It may take more or less time depending on the thickness of the ribs)
  • Remove from the basket and let them rest for 5 minutes to let juices redistribute through the meat. If you like you can brush more BBQ sauce on at this point.

Notes

  • This will work with spare ribs also but add more time as spare ribs are larger.
  • Check frequently during last few minutes so ribs do not burn.
