Anzac Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup coconut
- 125g butter
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 1/2 tsp bicarb soda
- 1 tbsp boiling water
Directions
- Preheat oven to 150C or 130C for fan forced
- Combine oats, flour, sugar and coconut
- Combine butter and golden syrup, stir over gentle heat until butter is melted
- Mix bicarb soda with boiling water, then add to butter mixture, stir in dry mix to combine
- Place tablespoons of mixture on lightly greased or lined trays. Allow room for spreading
- Bake for 10 - 20 minutes, checking after 8. Cook time will depend on your oven and how dark you like your biscuits
