"Peachy Keen" Dessert Treat

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cups uncooked old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk baking mix
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 pounds fresh peaches (about 8 medium), sliced
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Directions

  • Combine oats, sugars, baking mix, cinnamon and nutmeg in large bowl.
  • Stir in peaches; mix until well blended.
  • Transfer to CROCK-POT® slow cooker.
  • Cover; cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours.
  • Serve warm with whipped cream, if desired.

Notes

  • - Overwhelmingly sweet as written. Maybe try cutting sugar in half?
  • - I also think this could have more oats if desired.
  • - Can also be served with vanilla ice cream
