Fried Cabbage w/ Shrimp, Sausage & Bacon

Ingredients
- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound sausage, sliced
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons veg oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a large skillet, heat the veg oil or butter over medium heat.
- Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the sausage slices and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, stirring to combine.
- Cook until the cabbage is wilted and tender, about 8-10 minutes.
- Finally, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

- I cut the shrimp into bite-sized pieces.
- I started with the bacon with No oil and used the bacon grease for the dish.
