Fried Cabbage w/ Shrimp, Sausage & Bacon

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound sausage, sliced
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons veg oil or butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • In a large skillet, heat the veg oil or butter over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the sausage slices and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  • Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  • Cook until the cabbage is wilted and tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Finally, add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

  • I added 1/2 Red Bell Pepper, Rough Chop
  • 1 Carrot, Angle Slice
  • Coleslaw Mix
  • Big Splash White Wine
  • Nori Flakes, Garnish
  • I cut the shrimp into bite-sized pieces.
  • I started with the bacon with No oil and used the bacon grease for the dish.
