Pastrami & Sauerkraut Rolls

Ingredients

  • 6 sandwich rolls or hoagie buns
  • 1 lb pastrami, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • ¼ cup spicy mustard or Thousand Island dressing optional
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • ✅️Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice the sandwich rolls in half lengthwise, but don’t cut all the way through.
  • Spread a thin layer of mustard or Thousand Island dressing on the inside of each roll, if using.
  • Layer pastrami, sauerkraut, and a slice of Swiss cheese into each roll.
  • Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are lightly toasted. Serve warm
