Poor Man's Lasagna

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 2 15 oz cans tomato sauce
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 8 oz sour cream
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 1 1/2 C cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp sugar
- Kosher salt & black pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, then drain excess grease.
- Stir in Italian seasoning and garlic; sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add tomato sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper, cooking for 3-5 minutes.
- Mix cream cheese and sour cream in a bowl until smooth.
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
- Layer half the noodles in the baking dish.
- Spread half the cream cheese mixture over the noodles, followed by half the meat sauce.
- Repeat layers.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly.
